Jim and Renee Little opened their first company, Jim’s Carpentry & Remodeling, in November of 2007.
In the fourteen years since, the company has developed a reputation of quality work at a fair market
price with an emphasis on integrity. Hearth and Home Builders is Jim and Renee’s newest endeavor.

Our Creative Process
Here at Hearth & Home Builders, we like to meet our customers where they are! Starting completely from scratch? We can help you begin the process. Already have a floor plan in mind? Great! Our CAD designer will sit down with you to customize that floor plan in order to meet your needs and dreams. Regardless of where you are in the process, we can "pick up the ball" and help you run with it! Look below for more details on our process.
Preconstruction Design
What style of home do you picture in your mind? What are the needs of your family? What are some of your favorite things to do in your home: entertain, work, enjoy special family times? With these types of things in mind, we will sit down with you for an initial consultation, followed by a review and editing of your new home design.
Interior & Exterior Selections
This is the fun part! As we move closer to building your home, many decisions will need to be made. What do you envision for your kitchen: cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures? What about your bathrooms: whirlpools, walk in showers, heated floors? All those things that will make this new house your home. Our interior designer and owner will walk you through the process to make this fun and exciting.
On-Site Work
All on-site work will be completed by licensed, bonded, experienced and professional tradesmen, all under the watchful eyes of our project manager and owner. We visit the build site daily to ensure that your dreams are coming true!

By trade, the owner of Hearth & Home Builders is not just a businessman. He is a trim carpenter and home remodeler. That means he is passionate about the details! We do not close on our homes until every detail is complete! By this time, you have become family, and we take care of our families!
